Show Notes

Even in a place where everything looks calm on the surface and everyone says it is all right, a person who knows the unresolved problem and the result that is coming finds it hard to laugh along with them. When Jesus, having come near Jerusalem, saw the city and wept, there were around Him the disciples who had been praising the Lord. Why did the King, who was receiving their praise, shed tears? The Lord spoke of the things that make for peace, which this city did not know, and of the fall that was to come upon it. When we listen to those tears and that warning together and look back at ourselves, it becomes clear what we must know and accept today.
