There are times when, even while confessing that we have received the remission of sins from the Lord, we cannot easily answer the question of what we hope for as we live from now on. We hope to finish safely the work entrusted to us today and for the difficulties of life to get a little better, but it is easy to forget the fact that beyond that there is the life the Lord has given. The event in which Jesus rose again in the body and showed His hands and feet to the disciples tells us that there is a life of rising again for us, too. When we keep this hope in our hearts, the eyes with which we look at today’s life also change.
