The Lord Himself stood in the place where the disciples were sharing the news that Jesus had risen. The Lord spoke of peace, but the disciples were terrified and frightened and thought they were seeing a spirit. Even those who had heard the good news, when they actually saw Jesus before their eyes, could not easily accept that He was alive. The Lord did not leave their fear and doubt as they were; He showed them His hands and feet, and He took food and ate in their presence. The Lord Himself made clear what kind of resurrection Jesus’ resurrection was.
