Looking at this word, we find the word that Jesus was going toward the city of Jerusalem. Then, when He drew near the district called Bethany, Jesus said to His disciples, “Go into the village opposite you, where as you enter you will find a colt tied, on which no one has ever sat. Loose it and bring it here” (Luke 19:30). When Jesus said so, the disciples would have asked what they should do if they were caught by the owner while doing that, and what they should say if the owner asked why they were loosing it. So the Lord said, “If anyone asks you, ‘Why are you loosing it?’ thus you shall say to him, ‘Because the Lord has need of it’” (Luke 19:31). Then the disciples went and actually did just as Jesus had told them.
