There are times when we put off hearing the word, thinking that we will believe if we see more certain evidence. We may also think that, since there is no great problem in our present life, we can look into matters of salvation later. But the story of the rich man and Lazarus, which the Lord told, shows that “later” before our eyes. When we hear together what was revealed after the two men died and the word given to the brothers who were still alive, we can know what we need now.
